In a show of about 60 minutes, the actor, director and teacher Andreas Simma (formerly actor at the Théâtre du Soleil in Paris) performs parts of William Shakespeare’s plays (Richard III, The Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, Macbeth and others).

The texts will be presented in English, in their original version.

This show is intended to be played close to the public (eg in class-rooms).

Only with the means of "physical theater"  the body, the voice and a chair in a very

reduced space, the performer will give form and life to «words on a sheet of white paper».

We recognize very easily the difference between «reciting» a text, where the

comprehension of the language is essential and the physical engagement of the

performer that embodies the characters, based on the musicality and rhythm of

the text.

This project is part of a research which aims to create another show:

« I'm Yorick! »
