Andreas Simma
studied at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jaques Lecoq in Paris and the Schauspielschule Volkstheater Wien, Austria.
In Vienna and in Paris he also studied French literature and theater studies.
In Bali he was formed in Balinese theater with Cristina Wistari: masks and Nyoman Candri: puppets.
In India he studied Kathakali, Greek theater in Greece with Mirka Yemenzakis, Russian theater with Michai Fusu and Polish theater with Wiezlav Komaza.
He participated with the Théâtre du Soleil in a workshop of Italian and Balinese masks in Afghanistan and teaches in France, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Austria and Germany.
As an actor and director he works with companies in France, Italy, Ireland, England, Scotland, Brazil.
In Brazil he is associated with the Boa Companhia in Campinas, Sao Paulo.
As Clown he performes in many street festivals with his sister Tanja Simma.

As invited professor he teaches regularly at: UNICAMP-Universidade de Campinas, PUC-Universidade Católica de Chile and the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst „Ernst Busch“ in Berlin as well as at «Folkwang Universität der Künste»
